She's afraid, she hides in her fears.
She laughs, but her eyes are filled with tears.
She runs through the trees
Only her pain, she sees.
She picks flowers to put in her hair
My, suddenly she's oh so fair.
She speaks but in whispers
She cries in whimpers
She screams in her sadness
And smiles in all this madness.
She's strong, or so she thinks
She wants to iron out these kinks in
Her life, such a mess it seems
Through this all, she still beams.
I watch her, a thin glass seperates us
She was me, alas I'm now dust.
